We stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely be returning! The location was perfect, just off the M6, with easy access to the Lake District and Dales. The owners have gone above and beyond to make guests comfortable, with thoughtful touches like warm music playing upon arrival, fresh towels with chocolates, and a well-stocked kitchen. The cottage itself was spacious and cozy, with TVs in every room and a large living room with Sky channels. The grounds were well-kept, and there was even a balcony to enjoy the views. The owners were quick to respond to any questions and provided all the information needed for a great stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

We had a great Easter stay at this hotel. the location was perfect, just off the motorway and convenient for exploring the Lake District. the property was clean and cozy, with beautiful greenery and plants surrounding it. We loved the peaceful and quiet atmosphere inside the cottage. the hosts were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. the bed in the master room was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful present we received upon check-out.
There were a few minor issues during our stay. the property was not completely self-contained as we had expected, and we couldn't let our dogs roam freely in the garden.

The cottage itself was clean and tidy, with a nice balcony that would be perfect in the summertime. We enjoyed watching the birds, sheep, goats, and rabbits from the balcony, which was safe for our 2-year-old son. The traffic noise from the motorway was not an issue and there were convenient services within walking distance. The jacuzzi bath was a great way to relax after a busy day of exploring.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and had the most relaxing time. The cottage is in an amazing location, with plenty of places to visit within a short drive. The bed in the master room is the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and even the sofa was cozy. The cottage itself had everything we needed, and the Wi-Fi and TV were great for a rainy evening. The gardens were well-kept and added a beautiful touch to the surroundings. The hosts even surprised us with a little present on our check out day, which was a lovely gesture. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
